Christopher Ward launched his own independent financial
advisory business in 1982. By 1984 he had established Ward Consultancy
PLC, Independent Financial and Tax Advisors, which today is one of the
UK's leading tax shelter specialists.
In his early career, Christopher trained as a Legal
Executive. He then decided to move to the commercial world to develop
a sound understanding of the principles of business planning and development.
With a clear goal of developing expertise in sales management and training
techniques, Christopher then joined the confectionery division of Cavenham
Foods (a leading multi-good supplier company) run by Sir James Goldsmith.
He soon made his mark and was appointed as Southern Division Manager
to spearhead the company's push in to the grocery multiple market. The
next career advancement came with the appointment to National Account
Manager at Wander Foods (the makers of Ovaltine) with the key responsibility
to major account manage large multiple groups such as Tesco, Fine Fare
and Waitrose.
With his flair for business development Christopher
was encouraged to focus on the rapidly evolving financial services market.
He joined Abbey Life, became professionally qualified and recognised
as one of the leading Executive Associates specialising in the corporate
sector. The foundation of his own business then followed.
Christopher's personal drive, leadership and strategic
vision, backed by business acumen and planning, have successfully built
Ward Consultancy into one of the leading niche IFA's in the UK.
Christopher's own passions in life centre on his family,
cultural and sporting activities. The latter are undertaken as pleasure
pursuits but also to support the philanthropic attitude that has always
underlined the ethical business approach of Ward Consultancy PLC.
